Black
Grape
“I
don't want to be a black grape. Nobody likes my color. Moreover, Most
of the people hate me for my seeds. I will change my color and become
seedless”. The black grape got converted into green seedless grape.
It
wasn't satisfied for a longtime.
“I
am fed-up. I will become banana so that lot of people buy me”, It
said and got converted. It wasn't happy for a longtime.
“Oh
god! I am tired. I will become orange. It is good in shape and
color”, It said and got changed. As usual, it wasn't feeling good
for a longtime.
“Hey
fool! Can't you be yourself?” said banana.
“You
don't know how precious you are!” said Green seedless grape.
“You
are the best to make world-class wine. None us has got that quality”,
said Orange.
“Exactly.
Why should I try to be others. Let me accept myself and cherish my
unique qualities. I am Cabernet Sauvignon and I am proud” said the
grape.
It
has felt that the inner happiness and satisfaction pours throughout
it's body and make it more powerful.
This
is Life – This is world
A
boy played around a riverside heard mourning. He happened to see a
crocodile which was caught in the net. It requested the boy to help.
The boy hesitated. The crocodile promised that it won't hurt and
grateful forever. The boy agreed to help and started cutting the the
net.
Once
the crocodile's head came out, it grabbed the boy's leg. The boy was
filled with mixed emotions such as fear, anger and frustration
because of crocodile's betrayal. The crocodile replied “This is
world. This is life”.
The
boy couldn't accept and asked a bird about this.
The
bird said” We built nest with lot of difficulties and laid our
eggs. We protected from rain, heat and other external difficulties.
Within a minute, our eggs were swallowed by a snake. So accept the
crocodile's statement. This is world. This is life”.
The
boy was not convinced and asked a donkey over there.
“I
worked really hard. I lifted more and more loads. I was faithful. I
did not express my difficulties but my master abandoned me
irrespective of hard-work for longtime. So accept the crocodile's
statement. This is world. This is life” said the Donkey.
The
boy still wasn't satisfied with the answer though it was painful for
being grabbed by the crocodile. He asked a rabbit which was there
near riverside.
The
rabbit said” Don't believe Crocodile. It's philosophy is blemish”.
The
crocodile became angry and started shouting at the rabbit. The rabbit
said that it couldn't understand the crocodile's statement and
requested it to release the boy from it's mouth so that it can speak
better.
The
crocodile refused.
The
rabbit said “Hey fool! How can the poor boy escape? Can't you trust
your strong tail? So you release him and say clearly”.
The
crocodile though for a while and took off it's mouth.
The
rabbit shouted the boy to run and become alive. The boy was stunned
for a second and started running. The crocodile tried to raise it's
tail and it realized that it is still inside the net except the head.
The
boy informed the people from village and they came-up with tools and
caught the crocodile. The boy along with his dog started searching
the brilliant rabbit which helped him to escape from that cunning
crocodile.
All
of a sudden, the dog started running towards a hole. The boy realized
that it was rabbit's residency. He was shouting and running to stop
the dog. After a few seconds, The dog came-up with the rabbit in it's
mouth. The boy found the rabbit dead. He realized and said the
statement
“This
is world. This is life”.
Secrets
to be positive and happy
“How
is it possible for you?”, I asked my manager.
What
possible?” She asked me with her smile.
“You
are always smiling and happy. You take all the problems as your
favorite cakes and eat them just like that by coming-up with adequate
solutions. Tell me your secret.” I insisted.
She
laughed and told me something which is mind-stimulating and
eye-opener.
“Do
you know the parts of our mind?” She asked.
“Of-course.
Conscious and Sub-conscious minds” I replied in monotone.
“Exactly.
Which is more powerful?” She asked again.
“Obviously,
Sub-conscious mind” I replied in impatient tone.
“Listen
carefully. Your sub-conscious mind cannot differentiate the positive
and negative emotions. It will take as only emotions. The only
condition is that the emotions have to be deep and intense.” She
continued.
“If
the emotions are deep and intense, your sub-conscious mind will start
creating the possibilities. You will continue to get or face those
situations.” She said.
“I
understand that but tell me a tip to implement. Tell me your secret.
What should I do, If I encounter positive and negative emotions?” I
asked.
“It
is quite simple. See everything is an experience. The fist step is,
If it is negative, say to yourself and others in one sentence. If it
is positive, say to yourself and others in at-least six sentences
with emotionally connected.” She continued.
That's
it?” I asked with a surprise.
“It
is that simple”, She nodded and said.
“Let
me get more clarity. I love riding bikes. If I have an accident, I
should complete explaining the situation in one sentence and leave by
not getting involved emotionally” I continued.
She
was carefully listening by nodding her head and combed her hair right
by her index and middle finger.
“If
I win a race, I will express to myself and others atleast in six
sentences with emotions too” I said.
“Do
this simple thing. Your life will be happy, simple and different. You
can solve your problems with ease and face critical situations
smoothly” She explained.
“That's
great. It is an awesome tip. This is a positive experience. I am
going to explain this in six sentences emotionally” I said.
She
acted as if she was going to escape. I made her to sit and started
explaining.
What
is stealing?
“Stealing
is bad. You got it?” Father said in monotone.
“What
is stealing?' Boy asked innocently.
Father
was perplexed because of this simple ans sudden question.
“Stealing
is taking somebody's something without their awareness” father
explained.
“Somebody's
something?” his son asked.
“Yep.
Something means product or belongings or possessions etc” Father
replied.
“You
had been watching cricket for the whole day yesterday. Mom has been
watching all the serials for the past 3 hours” the boy continued.
“I
have been playing this game for the past three months, atleast 2
hours per day.” The boy completed.
“So
what?” The father asked in a clench tone.
“What
is the meaning of awareness?” The boy asked again.
“That
means the person knows or feels about the happenings around.” The
father answered.
“Did
you know the number of times grandma called you yesterday while you
were watching the match?” The boy asked in stern tone.
“No”
The father hesitatingly replied.
“That
meant you were not aware. Same is applied for both mom and I” The
boy said.
“TVs
and online games made us passive. They made us not to know any of the
happenings around. In short, We are not aware” The boy continued.
“They
are stealing our time, which is very precious than any other
possessions or products or anything” The boy concluded.
Father
was dumbstruck.
The
corporate world
There
was a hard-working donkey in a village. The donkey had been doing the
tasks for the past six years without rest. One day, he became very
weak and tired. He could not move forward and stayed in the same
place. The owner came and tried his best. He as not able to make his
donkey active so he decided to kill. He was talking to his wife
regarding this. It was overheard by goat and hen. They immediately
went to the donkey and explained the crisis. The donkey heard all and
was trying to get-up but couldn't do it.
Te
goat and the hen motivated a lot. They started expressing all the
motivational stories and real-life examples. After hearing all the
stories, the donkey became highly energetic and tried his best.
At-last, the donkey was able to stand and became active within a few
seconds.
The
owner was perplexed because he tried all his methods and delighted to
a great extent that his donkey became active again. In-order to
celebrate his happiness, he arranged a feast for his closed circle.
Everybody admired his magnanimity and appreciated the taste of food.
The
donkey came to know, the goat and the hen who motivated him to be
active, were made the day. Both goat and the hen became the dinner of
the owner's closed circle. The donkey moved on after sometime because
it has to survive.
Handling
difficult situations
It
was a narrow lane with lot of holes and stones. Ryan started his bike
to go office at 8:45 am. He had to take left turn. There was van at
the corner of the street. Normally, there won't be any vehicle
standing and made him convenient to turn left and moved forward. This
time, he had to turn by crossing that van. As per the general rule,
if a person turns left had side, he should check his right hand side
and turn left. He did the same. All of a sudden, there was a
Hero-honda splendor bike 2006 model dashed his 9 year old model CBZ
by coming from the left hand side of Ryan, which was wrong. He
justified by saying “Why didn't you see this side? You should have
seen this side”. Ryan was terrified by the reply. There are certain
ways, he handled the situation. You conclude by yourself, which is
the best one.
Ryan
stared the person.
“Why
didn't you see this side? You should have seen this side” the other
person said.
“Should
I have to look at this side? You came in the wrong way” Ryan
replied.
“Did
I come faster?” The other person asked.
Ryan
saw the left side indicator was damaged.
“No
more arguments. Come to police station” Ryan said.
“Come.
Let's go” the other person replied.
They
started moving towards the direction of police station. At that time,
some of the vehicles came.
“See
these vehicles. They are coming in the direction where I came. So
there is no mistake from my side” The other person replied.
Ryan
informed somebody that he would come to office a little late. The
other person pretended that he was talking to a policeman and
inquiring about his arrival.
All
of a sudden, he started riding his bike fast without saying a word.
He
escaped. Ryan did not want to waste further time and started moving
to office. He inquired about the damage happened regarding indicator
and the mechanic informed him that the indicator has to be changed.
It will cost around 250 rupees.
Ryan
stared the person.
“Why
didn't you see this side? You should have seen this side” the other
person said.
“Sorry”
Ryan replied.
“Go.
Be careful while you are riding” The other person replied.
“Sure”
He said and did not look for any damage. After riding some distance,
he came to know that his indicator was damaged. It will cost 250
rupees. He laughed at himself and forgave that person.
Ryan
stared the person.
“Why
didn't you see this side? You should have seen this side” the other
person said.
“Sorry.
I should have seen this side too” Ryan replied and got down to see
any damage.
The
left indicator was damaged and was trying to fix with smile in his
face. He couldn't.
“I
understand that I should have seen this side. As per the general
rule, I don't have to look the side where you have come. I can
understand from your side too. If the vehicle was not be there, you
would not have any problems too” Ryan continued.
“I
don't want to argue. You have something important to do and have my
office too. I don't want to spoil the mood by shouting at you. I feel
that is irrelevant and meaningless. This indicator will cost me
around 300 rupees. Give me the amount possible without having any
negative feeling. I will go with a satisfaction that nothing much has
been damaged. You can go with a satisfaction that the morning was not
ruined with problems. What do you say?” Ryan concluded.
“Please
take this” The other person said by giving 100 rupees.
“It
will not be enough but it seems you are giving me to help fixing my
problem. So thank you. Hava a good day” Ryan said by receiving 100
rupees and moved forward.
Tamizh
It has become a buzzword now. Everybody starts talking about our
culture, heritage and the importance of tamizh. This mind-set has
been spreaded in colleges especially after Jallikattu protest. It was
really good to feel among the people including students. My question
is “Are we really protecting our culture and language?” If you
cannot speak in english fluently, the probability of getting the job
in the current market is very low. This is because of globalisation
and liberalisation. Most of the people would agree this. My question
is, if the same person is given the opportunity to speak in Tamizh,
will he or she be able to speak fluently without using the words from
other languages including sanskrit and english.
My humble suggestion is we shouldn't be emotional idiots. We should
know how to speak in Tamizh as well as english fluently. Improve that
skill. Wearing dhoties and sarees during the festival time and raise
your voice if somebody says Tamizh are not the signs of being
Tamizhan. Instead, be smart and take good care to retain our culture.
You don't have to grow our language. It knows how to sustain and keep
continuing.
Don't let somebody fool your emotions and make money. You could see
lot of advertisements and television shows. They advertise as if they
are taking steps to cherish our language and culture. My dear
Tamizha! Wake up and don't let anybody to play with your emotions. Be
rational and do something for our Tamizh society instead of merely
shouting the slogans and getting trapped.
Vel
“Our
culture is more than two thousand years old. Is that right, Master?”
A girl asked his teacher.
“Ofcourse.
We have showcased to this entire world by portraying well-mannered
and highly knowlegable culture” The teacher replied with proud in
his face.
“It
meant we did not support violence. Did we?” The girl asked with her
innocent face.
“Ofcourse.
We didn't, we don't” The master replied with a smile.
“Then,
why did Lord Muruga have Vel(A sharp tool) in his hand? Does it
explain our culture as violent?” The girl asked in a high tone.
Everybody
in the class was shocked and applauded for this brilliant question.
“Can
you describe Vel?” The master asked after the applause.
“It
is a long rod with a triangle head with sharp edge” The girl
replied quickly.
Everybody
was curious to know the explanation of the teacher.
“If
we want to explain something complex to a normal person, we will
explain in cartoons. Take all the newspapers. They explain any
complex issues easily by using cartoons and pictures. Do you agree?”
The teacher explained and asked the girl.
“Yes.
I do” the girl replied.
“Our
forefathers did the same. They gave vel to Lord Muruga for a reason.
It did not portray violence. It is a symbolic representation of
something else” The teacher said and drew the picture of Vel.
“The
knowledge should have three dimensions. It has to be deep, wide and
sharp. As you explained the shape of vel, the long rod denotes
in-depth. The triangle shape denotes wide and the edge denotes sharp.
Our culture is mainly based on knowledge with these three dimensions.
The vel which Lord Muruga portrays is not merely a weapon. It is a
very powerful weapon – Knowledge” the teacher explained.
There
was a pin-drop silence in the entire class.
“Though
our culture is 2500 years old, they have guided not only our next
generation but also the entire world, how to live. Be proud to be a
Tamizhan” The teacher continued in a powerful tone.
Everybody
was mesmerised with the explanation and started clapping with
standing ovation.
