Fight Harder

Scene 1 – Bus Stop – 3:33AM
My coach and I were waiting. He raised his left hand slightly and stopped a tempo traveler.
A sarcastic middle-aged driver asked the reason to my coach non-verbally. There was a strange and fishy feeling when I entered the vehicle after five minutes of negotiation with the driver. Everybody was timid and subdued for some reasons.
Within 30 seconds of the time, I could experience heavenly feeling. There was a complete pleasantness inside the vehicle. I could listen to my own melodious music in my auricles and ventricles of my heart. Each and every organ started dancing gracefully. Yep! I was seeing her for the first time. I froze completely at 3:39 AM.
I stood confidently and got myself ready to impress her. I noticed even her tiny movements and at one point of time, I raised my eyebrows and nodded thrice to get her attention. She noticed but she didn’t respond.
“Ku-ku-koo!” I made a strange sound so that, only she could listen and notice me.
What?” She asked non-verbally, by looking others in the surrounding.
Cutie-Pie” I said by winking my left eye.
She blushed and looked down with a smile.
I started searching here and there.
What happened?” She asked her through her body language.
I have lost something” I portrayed my face little tensed.
Lost something?” She asked, with her puzzling look.
Yep!” I replied with my slightly sad face.
“What is it?” She asked in the intention of helping me.
“I lost my heart. Can you help me to find out?” I said by slightly shaking my body and twinkled my eyes.
“You.. You…” She said. I could observe that her anger was a complete fake.
For the next few hours, we started exchanging our sweet nothings.
Peahen? Me?” Her face became pinkish red while she was saying these words.
“Eighteenth time”, I told her when she looked down.
“What?” She turned suddenly towards me.
“Yep. This is the eighteenth time you blushed and looked down”, I smiled and said by nodding my head three times.
“Where are you going? Purpose?”, She asked me after nine minutes.
For a competition”, I replied.
I want to take you to my place with me. I want to give my whole life to you. I want to live with you and make you happy all the time. What do you say?”, I told her by looking into her eyes.
She didn’t reply for 30 seconds.
“Get down. This is the place, you asked”, Driver shouted at my coach.
Reply fast. I have to get down. Why do you seem to be afraid of?” I asked her while I was getting ready to leave the vehicle.
“We all are going to die” She waved a goodbye with her sad smile.
I was dumbstruck.

Scene-2 – Stadium – Around 6 AM
Huge crowd – Applause – Whistles – Drums – Announcements
I could focus nothing but the thoughts about my peahen.
Her last words were penetrated into my heart as thorns.
“You can seize this universe, if you put your heart and soul to do that. So whatever you do, give your 100%. That vibration can move even this world” My coach used to say. My heart is smashed and my soul is missed. I don’t know how to put my heart and soul to this competition.
Tournament started. I had to face totally 6 opponents to win medal. Each fight consists of 3 rounds and the duration is 15 minutes.
Round 1 (1st opponent)
I was not in my stance. My opponent gave me double-kick. He executed kick by his right leg and I couldn’t stand. The hook kick made me worse and blood came out of my mouth. I was experiencing galaxy full of different stars and planets in my head. Round 1 was over and everybody lost hope on me.

Scene 3 (Flashback)

Do you have brain? Go and do some other job for your livelihood. Give training to him is a waste of time” These were the words from our villagers to my coach. He simply gave them a smile as a reply.
“Time flies… Money flights… But Identity” , Coach paused for a second and said “Never”.
I nodded with great confidence.
“50 years down the line, you die, I die. Our name and fame has to be there in the hearts of the people and should inspire them, whenever they feel down. That is the real living otherwise it will be merely existing” The words from my coach made me to practise vigorously. I became well-versed in my coach’s unconventional techniques and methodologies.
Currently, All of a sudden, I forgot everything and lost my belief. My peahen will not be happy, if I play like this.

Scene 4 (Back to the stadium)
I opened my eyes and happened to see my coach, who was taking care of my wounds. His gentle touch brought my confidence back. He showed a pure positive sign and I could feel that he believed me completely.
“This is my game. Either I win or lose, I will fight harder” I said to myself with my confident posture.
Round 2 (1st opponent)
I started collecting my thoughts and in the process of putting my heart and soul in the match. I was in my stance.
Within 6 seconds, I made my opponent to kiss the ground by my multiple kicks. Nobody was able to close their lips. It took 9 seconds for the audience to realise, what happened.
I did not have any difficulty in winning the next 4 opponents and became eligible for final match.

Final match
“This is unfair. Opponent’s height, weight and the measurements are for the higher level. Huge discrimination”, My coach started arguing with the committee.
“If you want to participate, do that. Or else, accept your failure, get your prize and go back to your place”, Committee member said with his sarcastic tone.
“He may be bigger. He may be stronger. Never mind. You win or lose, I don’t care. I want you to do a favor. Sow a drop of inspiration in the minds of the people. We should live, even after we die. You got it?’ Coach made the statement with fire in his eyes.

Final Match - Round 1
DAASHHH!! There was a smashing kick from my opponent. I was trying to make myself ready. Five consecutive kicks with multiple dives, I could see only the darkness everywhere. I got another kick, while I was trying to open my eyes. I was about to touch the ground with my head, to accept my failure.
“Hey!! Either you win or you die, that is fine. Never quit”, I told myself.
I stood in my stance and received all the kicks from the opponent as kisses. He could not believe, what is happening. I smiled, when the bell rang.

Final Match - Round 2
He will definitely lose. See his opponent’s height and weight. He is bleeding and dying”, Audience looked at me and murmured.
I looked his physique as my opportunity and started playing defensive mode. I applied all my unconventional tactics to make my opponent to drain his energy completely. I blocked all his kicks and tackled all his moves. My physique helped me to move faster so that he got confused. I made him emotionally weak which was needed at that time.
The bell rang. I could withstand optimistically and did not lose any points.

Final Match – Final Round
“DISH!!!” I started my half-moon kick which surprised not only him but the audience too.
“Hey you. My game starts now. Watch it”, I told myself and moved with my axe kick. By increasing the momentum, I stroke him with my crescent kick.
He became emotionally weak which became my advantage. With a large circular motion and both of my feet are in air, “DANGGG!!!” The butterfly kick was perfectly executed. I did not even turn back my opponent and moved forward. I knew, He fell down and will take at least an hour to wake him up.
With full of tears in his eyes, my coach hugged me.
“You brought me the meaning of my life. You deserve this” My coach said and took of his towel from his shoulder and paid respect to me.

Scene 5 – Stadium – Before I leave
Life will kick and smash us. It is not that you give back your kicks. You should get kicked and keep moving forward. I just want to leave a simple but powerful message to this ground.
No matter what happens. Fight harder. It is not about winning or losing. It is all about fighting. So fight harder and keep moving forward. That’s it.
I came here as a participant from a small village. I was able to withstand all the kicks and kept moving forward. I could win the audience and going to live as an inspiration in their lives. If I were able to do, I believe, everybody can do.
“Who is he? What is this all about? What is his name?” If you still have any of these questions in your mind, I reveal myself.
I am a rooster and I am proud of it.

Scene 6 Hotel – Near Stadium
“How was this possible? I used all my influence to clear over all allegations regarding physique, drugs and secret knife but this useless rooster lost the match” Opponent’s coach pointed his rooster and shared his thoughts to his friend.
“Don’t worry. We have money and influence. We will arrange another match and make him to participate. We will win and retain our name” Opponent’s coach’s friend said and took him to the hotel.
“Give us the best of the food items you have. We want to eat something very special” Opponent’s coach insisted the server.
“Sure sir. A flock of chickens reached today morning. They are yummy. I will get the best out of it”, Server replied.
“Wow! What a taste!! I have not tasted anything like this before in my life. This is really great” Opponent’s coach said.
He was not aware of that the chicken he tasted was the rooster’s peahen.

Note:
Government recognized “Rooster – Fist” as a cultural game and passed a legislature to conduct tournaments with refine rules.
